Sirrus is a project that I will be working to increase my knowledge in non-web based coding applications. Sirrus originally started out as a crazy idea I had come up with after the decision to shelve the MACOM project. In short Sirrus is home companion drone. It will wake people up, tell them the weather, and act as  a home surveillance monitor. The genesis of the idea came about after many months of frustration with getting my Rovio to work. After I found out that Rovio was obsolete a few months after I acquired it, I began to wonder why someone would want one in the first place.

Anyway, what I came up with was a platform for a flying home robot that was mostly novelty but still could help people with basic tasks.
